I don’t often put real personal truths up here, but this is one of them.
In a letter to MysteryMan:
“I can’t lay my soul anymore bare than I have so far except to say this, you’ve had my heart almost since the very beginning. I don’t believe in things like true love, or happily ever after, or that there is only one person out there for each of us. But I do believe in strong relationships, in having someone in your life that makes you a better person and that you make a better person, and that having those things isn’t ever easy. It takes work, and it’s as hard as it is good.”
