Diploma Irony

My mother divorced my father 22 years ago.
My father never went to college, but has been on the local university Board of Trustees for the last 8 years.
My mother just got her Masters in Education from the local university.
And my father signed her diploma.
What are the chances in any given lifetime that your ex-husband who never went to college would be the person that signs your masters diploma?
