Wherein I interview a guy at the DIY Network

I gotta admit, it’s a little bit fun to have Ahmed Hassan from the DIY Network say my name on camera.

(Although not nearly as fun as watching him spray that chick in her white denim skirt with mud.)

A month or two ago the lovely Margot from a company that works for the DIY Network asked me to come up with a couple of questions in order to “interview” Hassan about their Blog Cabin project. So, of course, I asked about my two favorite subjects… green building and DOING IT MYSELF.

(If you’re having trouble with the video, follow this link to the YouTube site.)

You really should check out the Blog Cabin site, since it gives us bloggers the one thing we love even more than humiliating ourselves publically over the internet… power.

And on top of getting to pick stuff for someone elses house, MysteryMan and I might even be able to incorporate some of the design from the cabin into the Memorial house, which is probably going to end up with a kind of cabin-esq feel anyway.

Note: I’m not being paid by the DIY Network to endorse this, but I’m still going to shamlessly plug the Blog Cabin show that premiers on the DIY Network on August 14th at 9 PM. End shameless plug.
