Week 6: April 18, 2009
Things I like about this photo:
- the big umbrella in the back
- that it contains two of my favorite people in the world
- that MysteryMan not only drove a car full of women around to 5 different places that each boast one of the birthday girl’s (shown above) favortite martinis but that he also took pictures with said women all night long without complaint
Things I don’t like about this picture:
- that’s not a true MysteryMan smile
- I spent an unreal amount of time cropping and recropping this photo, and I still don’t think I got it right
- if he was wearing a black T-shirt, this would be a much better photo, but I don’t have the time to re-color his wardrobe with photoshop
Side Note: The title of this weeks portrait is thanks to my brother, LittleFish, who, at five years old put me into fits of hilarity while when imitating WWF wrestling with his long-suffering cat* I said to him, LittleFish, don’t you think you should take it easy on the cat? To which he replied, What? He likes it! I don’t know why, but the title seemed appropriate.
So, there is a lot of MysteryMan’s mug on this page right now… which I plan to rectify with, among other things, the next installment of “Things that have pooped in the Memorial House” the featured star of which is much larger than last weeks rodents. (Mark, you are not kidding when you say we can all be glad mice aren’t bigger. And all I will say for the present is now I know why.)
