The Pythagorean Theorem finally has a purpose

Visual learners must draw pictures to buy the correct amount of lumber. And also find online calculaters based on the Pythagorean Theorum to make sure their bench legs will be the proper length. (Damn math teachers were right… It DOES come in handy.) Sigh.

I have to draw pictures, too. My brain doesn’t keep the picture still long enough for me to count the boards. I have to write everything out, matter of fact– budgets, to-do lists, packing lists. Gotta see it to do it.

Come to think of it, being a visual learner sure wastes a lot of paper…
