To answer your question, my cats do have all their claws.  They ruin berber carpets and anything that feels scratchy, like indoor/outdoor or woven rugs.  They don&#039;t ruin the wool cut pile rugs, though.  There have been a couple of threads pulled up, but I just snip them and all is well. I guess the soft rugs don&#039;t really appeal to them.  They have never ruined a bath mat, either, that must be such a pain!!</description>
