Dads: This One’s For You

I don’t get that worked up about Father’s Day being the big power-tool-giving holiday, while Mother’s day is all about flowers and chocolate… because I’m not a mother. But believe me, if that day ever comes, I expect all of my twelve children to be buying me presents from the hardware store. Until that happy time, let’s talk about some presents for fathers.

The Re:Solve 17 Piece Multi-Tool*

You know… just in case you’re taking a family vacation and the car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and Dad needs to build you a new one out of pine boughs and fishing line.

Here’s a coupon.

Ryobi Tek4 Laser Distance Measure

Tape-measure, begone. Who doesn’t want to be able to measure distance with the touch of a button? No one. That’s who. Check it out at Home Depot.

Video Spy Pen from Brookstone

Yeah, you read that right. Video. Spy. Pen. You know no matter how big they get, they’re still kids at heart. And seriously, who doesn’t want a spy pen?

Brookstone is offering $25 dollars off purchases of $99 or more.

Awesome Grill Accessories from Crate & Barrel

MysteryMan just got some of these for his birthday, and hey, summers here… which means it’s time for the guys to take over kitchen duties.

I can’t tell you the grossness that is cleaning basting fluids off a natural bristle basting brush, so whoever invented these silicone brushes has a big thanks from me. Not that I do dishes.

And everything you need for that griller on the go. Or even just for someone who has 467 grill tools you don’t want banging around your utensils drawer.

And you know, if all other gifts fail, no one ever went wrong with a Harley. Right Dad?

*Full Disclosure: The people behind Re:solve have offered a multi-tool to give away on this website at a future date. They didn’t pay for the mention or threaten me with bodily harm. Nor did anyone else in this post. Which is lucky, because I’ve got good aim with a hammer.

I’m with you. Tools for presents. In fact, that is all I get. Not complaining at all.

I’m glad to see that “Mystery Man” got and opened his gift. By the way, thanks for including them on your site;)
