This is the easiest and most delicious thing I have ever eaten off the grill.
I don’t post a lot of recipes here these days because, hi, no kitchen. The reason we haven’t starved to death yet is because MysteryMan is a wizard on the grill. And to prove it, this weekend I’ll share our recipe for grilled chicken pesto panini’s.
But that’s not the mouthwatering confection in the picture so why the hell are you talking about it, you ask? Good point.
MysteryMan didn’t even grill this dessert, I did.
I sliced up a couple of peaches… and doused them with a combination of half a stick of butter and a couple of tablespoons of sugar. And a dash of cinnamon.
Then slapped them on the grill over indirect, medium heat. That means not right over the coals.
It took, oh, 3-4 minutes per side until they were warmed through and getting a little brown.
Then they took a slight detour over a scoop of french vanilla ice cream….
… on their way straight to my mouth. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.
I basically had to pin MysteryMan to the ground and plug his nose to get him to open his mouth and to try a bite, and then he proceeded to eat my whole bowl. That’s how good it is. Luckily I made two.
And while this may be the best thing I share with you this week ever, stop back tomorrow for a fun little Friday giveaway!

A mod. to this recipe is to add some good rum to the butter and sugar, let them soak it in for a bit and then grill them.
