Jealous! Geothermal wasn’t an option for us since our lot is small and we live in the city. We looked at doing an air-source heat pump but with Seattle noise ordinances it was almost impossible to find a place for the outdoor unit besides the middle of the front yard (and of course it’s not as efficient or badass as a geothermal system)! I’d be curious to see more posts on the installation of this system…

This a vertical system so it really doesn’t take up much space… there are two wells (250 ft deep) that we kept 12 feet away from the house and 20 feet away from each other. Although I know “space” is relative when you’re on a small lot!
