So last week Kelly left a comment here saying,
I wish you’d get a facebook page, so I know when you’ve posted a new one. This blog has become one of my favorites! Sadly, I find myself bummed when you haven’t updated – I know, I know. . . . I should be working on my own DIY’s not waiting to read about other people’s adventures!
So, first, I think reading about other people’s adventures is almost as fun as DIYing your own, and sometimes way less messy. And second, this website is a vehicle for DIY joy, not being bummed, so for Kelly and anyone else out there who wants to keep tabs on this site, I’ve finally set up a few ways you can do that.
You’ll notice some new buttons on the sidebar, hopefully making it easier for any of you who want to follow my updates.
This will take you to DIYdiva’s RSS feed.
For those of you who don’t know what an RSS feed is (hi mom!), check out Google Reader, you can add RSS feeds from all of your favorite sites and see the updates all in one spot.
For those of you who prefer using facebook, I’ve set up a page for DIYdiva. It automatically updates when I post something (right now it takes several hours to update, but that gets faster the more people who like the page). If you “like” the page, you should see when new content is posted in your Facebook news feed.
Same goes for those of you who prefer Twitter over facebook, I’ve set up my twitter account to post links when DIYdiva is updated as well.
And for those of you who think tools should be seen and not heard, you can see most images from my site on Flickr. You may have noticed that I’m highlighting some “featured images” full size, and those may or my not be on flickr… fair warning.
Even with the whole full-time-job and living-in-a-garage-plus-building-a-house thing, I’m doing my best to update daily, if not more.
Also, if you guys have any suggestions about the site, the content, or making things easier to access… you know where the comments go.

Hey, thanks for the feedback… I don’t “use” my site the way other people do so sometimes I don’t get what would make it easier.

I tried to be your friend on your Facebook page, but I wasn’t able to do it. Enter my full name on your facebook page, and ask to be my friend. I throughly enjoy your blog and will share it with my own friends (over 500 now).

Hey Joseph, since it’s a page (not a person) you just “like” it, you don’t have to friend it. I checked and you’re on the list of people who like the page, so you should see updates in your facebook news feed when a new post is up here!

I have three requests.
1. I want more tool recommendations. 2. I want to be able to subscribe to comments on a post. And 3. I want you to tell me how to put a level ceiling on my not-at-all level 115 year old ceiling joists.
