Nine Hundred and Twelve

That’s how many square feet of wall I’ve textured and primed since Sunday evening. So basically, my arm hurts. But I have to say, it’s worth it… these walls are looking fabulous. Here’s a sample of the texture in the Master Bath.

Now if only I had a color to put on them…

  1. Looks awesome! I’m going to be texturing a ceiling after fixing a few holes (making sure the roof doesn’t leak anymore…), and like the way your texture turned out.

Did you do the primer mixed with mud thing? How’d that work out & why?

  2. That is so impressive! It looks like a pro did it. Or at least that 5 sf does. : P

Are you still looking at the same cream and soft green colors that you were back in December? You’re going to do the cedar paneling in this room right? I’d stick with some type of cream color.

A board I visit has a paint bio of pictures from different people’s houses:

Then there is this post about neutral colored paint:

But the granddaddy of them all is Phoebe Howard and her top 10 paint colors:

I love her designs even though they aren’t necessarily my style. If that makes any sense. Remember you can always get something paint matched. Each paint store has a color deck for their competitors.
