Sneak Peek: The Finished Vanity

I’m just one piece shy of being able to give you the complete how-to this bathroom vanity, but I just had to show you a little preview. With the doors finished and installed, the three new gray hairs I gave myself fretting over the proper alignment of my dowels (prior to finding that glorious invention the dowel jig, that is) are totally worth it. That’s what they make wood stain for right? So when you accidentally bump your head into a freshly stained shelf, your gray hair magically disappears.

Okay, since obviously no one is going to be licensing me as a beautician any time soon, I have to say I might be giving Pottery Barn a run for their money in the cabinet-making department. Not only was my version $1000 cheaper, but I have to say I like the look of it a little better.

Less stuffy and refined than this one, don’t you think?

Pretty damn amazing. I look forward to the tutorial.

You’ll have to give us a price breakdown.

Were you going with a white marble top as well?
