The Road Home

Taken this morning on the way to The Liberty House, which is just over that hill.

I found out today that the road home is going to be a little longer and with a few more twists and turns than I hoped. Hey, it’s not always an easy ride, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find beauty in the view.

  1. Wonderful words of wisdom.
And those trees are so beautiful.

“Happy is the person who finds wisdom and gains understanding. For the profit of wisdom is better than silver, and her wages are better than gold…Wisdom is a tree of life.”

    Proverbs 3:13&18.

  2. That Exterra will come in handy for something besides hauling stuff then! Beautiful actually, and winter is only a few months out of the year. (Says she who hates winter). And when you crest the hill and see that beautiful house it will all be worth it!

  3. Can you say 4 wheeler!?!?!? Functional and fun too…necessary for someone who has this much property…

    1. Mark,
I think those gentle rolling hills are going to be filled with donkeys, goats, and chickens. Animals are fun, too!
      🙂

  4. Hey, if this really is “the place” “for good” then everything about it is the long road. No need to rush. Your grandkids will understand if it takes a little longer to finish than planned.
