Homecoming

Over the weekend I flew half the length of the country and back inside of 24 hours. The flying part was because my cousin was getting married, and I was there and back in less than a day because farm chores stop for no woman and her travel plans.

While it was truly awesome to see the fam, the mountains, the beautiful wedding, I stand by what I said last week about never leaving the farm again. Except you have to admit, the welcoming committee when I get home is pretty awesome.

Right?

And that’s all I’ve got until I catch up on enough sleep to form coherent sentences again.

  1. That’s awesome! I had a dream that your chickens started flying up into the trees and hanging out up there! random!

  2. I wouldn’t want to leave the farm either. Although knowing you’ve got a brood like that to come home to probably makes it a little bit easier. 🙂

  3. I love your blog…and it is my personal opinion (which you can take or leave, seeing as how you don’t know me from Adam) that you need a dog. I’d vote for a border collie, as my border collie is my favorite person in the universe…but I think any sort of dog will do.

That’s all. Have a good one!
