The framing crew had 4 days of great weather, and then the rain spoiled everything. A couple of half-days in there and one really nice Friday have brought us to the point where we now own a very large blue tent.
Word from the crew is we’ll be ready for windows by the end of the week, if the weather holds. (This is Michigan… it won’t.)
I hardly ever see houses with big blue tarps stretched over them, and I can only attribute that to the fact that there are very few people who would replace the entire roof on the house. We’re still scratching our heads over why we didn’t doze the whole thing and build from scratch.
I guess seeing the house taken apart piece by piece like a giant jigsaw puzzle was just too much fun.
