Weekend Working Portraits: Siding Continues

This is starting to look like the house I’ve been picturing in my head for the last three years.

MysteryMan and I finished the peak we started last week and sided most of the sliding-door wall this weekend. At this rate we’re looking at about three more weekends of siding.

I spent a lot of quality time with the caulk-gun on Sunday.

My mom was a trooper, and painted a good chunk of what was finished on Sunday afternoon…

It’s nice to finally be able to see all the colors I agonized over (the roof, fascia, windows, and siding) finally coming together.

The house is looking so, so, so good! The colors all go together well. It looks like a very expensive house, so far..

And here I thought we were the only ones that used duct tape to hem up pants and hold boots and shoes together…
